Quickstart

Fastest path from a fresh clone to a running ATHELOS with a working login.

1. Clone the repository

git clone git@github.com:cyb3rwize/soc-solo-os.git
cd soc-solo-os
pnpm install

2. Set up environment files

cp .env.example .env
cp apps/web/.env.local.example apps/web/.env.local
cp docker/.env.example docker/.env

Open each file and replace every CHANGE_ME with your own value. Generate strong secrets with:

openssl rand -base64 32

3. Start the data services

cd docker
docker compose up -d
docker compose ps

4. Apply migrations

cd ..
cd packages/db
pnpm drizzle-kit migrate
cd ../..

5. Seed your owner account

SEED_EMAIL=you@example.com SEED_PASSWORD='your-strong-password' pnpm seed:user

6. Run ATHELOS

pnpm dev

Open http://localhost:3000. Sign in with the email and password you seeded.

7. Create your first engagement

1. Go to Clients in the sidebar
2. Click New client and save
3. Go to Engagements and click New engagement
4. Select the client, name the engagement, set the dates
5. Click Create
